Marinated Flat Iron Steak

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons BALSAMIC VINEGAR
  • 1 tablespoon DIJON MUSTARD
  • 2 lb FLAT IRON STEAK
  • 2 GARLIC CLOVES
  • 4 servings GINGER
  • 4 servings HERBS: ROSEMARY
  • 1 LEMON ZEST
  • 2 LEMONS
  • 1 tablespoon MAYONNAISE
  • 0.5 cup OLIVE OIL
  • 4 servings SALT AND PEPPER

Steps

  • 1) Cut the flat iron steak lengthwise to form two equal strips.
  • 2) Place all the above ingredients in a large baking pan, or Ziploc bag.
  • 3) Add the meat to it and place in the refrigerator for an hour or more.
  • 4) Start the BBQ .
  • 5) When temperature reaches high, add the steaks.
  • 6) Cover and cook for 3 minutes.
  • 7) Turn the steaks and cook the other side for another 3 minutes, or to required doneness.
